Deryck brings more than 35 years of clinical operations experience and leadership in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industry.
Most recently, Deryck served as the President, and Executive Clinical Operations consultant for CE Clinical Consulting, providing senior level expertise building, optimizing, and directing clinical operations departments for small to midsize biotechnology companies. Deryck previously served as VP of Clinical Operations for SciClone Pharmaceuticals and StemCells, Inc. Deryck’s therapeutic area experience extends to NASH, infectious diseases, stem cell transplantation, oncology, diabetes, autoimmune diseases, vaccines, allergy & asthma, and solid organ transplantation.
Over his career Deryck has led clinical operations departments for numerous companies of which two Clinical programs ultimately resulted in successful FDA approvals for Raptiva (Xoma) and Tilade (Fisons). He also held a prominent leadership position on the clinical project team that received the FDA approval for Sandimmune (Sandoz/Novartis). Deryck has implemented clinical operations infrastructures in European affiliates as well.
