She is a UCLA-trained board-certified dermatologist, and over her career, has served as faculty at UCLA, published in high impact journals (notably Nature and JAAD), and contributed as an inventor on multiple issued patents.
Prior to DermBiont, Emma was founder and CEO of Naked Biome, successfully advancing the company’s lead product through phase one clinical trials for acne and leading the company through its eventual acquisition.
