Shilpa Goel, MD

At Biometrix, Dr. Goel led dermatological and cosmetic clinical studies and was involved in various clinical research projects including skin, hair and other cosmetic studies.
Shilpa previously worked at the Department of Dermatology at UCSF and the San Francisco VA Health Care System on projects related to the microbiome of skin cancers, melanoma, and vitiligo.
Dr. Goel extensively used diverse diagnostic techniques to identify diseases and determine appropriate therapies at Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre, Dr. Tahiliani’s skin clinic, and Kaya Limited in Mumbai, India.
Shilpa earned her M.B.B.S from Grant Medical College and completed residency in Dermatology from University of Mumbai, India in 2009. She practiced dermatology for over a decade providing medical and surgical treatments and completed an Entrepreneurship Innovation course at UCSF in 2016.
